Purpose
These Terms and Conditions establish clear expectations between Veritas Notary Services, LLC and its clients. They are intended to promote transparency, professionalism, consistency, and compliance with applicable Georgia law.
Our Commitment
At Veritas Notary Services, LLC, we believe professionalism begins with honesty, clear communication, and respect. We strive to provide reliable, courteous, and compliant mobile notary services while treating every client fairly and consistently.
Definitions
“Company,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Veritas Notary Services, LLC. “Client” refers to any person requesting services. “Appointment” means a confirmed service request.
Service Area
Services are offered throughout the State of Georgia, subject to availability, travel distance, weather, safety, and operational considerations.
Services
Services may include mobile notary services, general notarizations, I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification (where permitted by law), printing, scan-back services, and other lawful services offered by the Company.
No Legal Advice
Veritas Notary Services, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or document preparation unless otherwise authorized by law. Clients should consult a licensed attorney for legal advice.
Appointment Policy
Appointments are accepted by reservation and confirmation. Online appointment requests, same-day requests, and urgent requests are not considered confirmed until accepted by Veritas Notary Services, LLC.
Booking Deposit
A booking deposit is required to reserve an appointment. The required deposit is determined based on the estimated scope of the appointment, including travel, requested services, appointment requirements, and other applicable factors. The deposit amount will be disclosed before the appointment is confirmed and will be applied toward the final invoice upon successful completion of the appointment.
Payment
Accepted payment methods may include cash, Square, credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Stripe, and other approved electronic payment methods. Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide valid identification when required, appear in person, be willing and able to sign voluntarily, provide complete documents when required, and ensure a safe meeting location.
Appointment Safety
The Company reserves the right to decline, postpone, or terminate an appointment if safety concerns arise, including unsafe locations, threatening behavior, illegal activity, or other conditions that make completion of the appointment unsafe.
Right to Refuse Service
Services may be refused when permitted or required by law, including but not limited to unsatisfactory identification, suspected fraud, coercion, inability to communicate, incomplete documents that cannot legally be notarized, or requests that violate Georgia law.
Cancellation and No-Show
Clients are encouraged to provide advance notice if they need to cancel or reschedule. Booking deposits and other applicable charges will be handled in accordance with the Company's Cancellation and No-Show Policy.
Website Use
All website content, logos, graphics, documents, and branding are the property of Veritas Notary Services, LLC and may not be copied or reproduced without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
The Company is not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, technology failures, or other unforeseen events.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The most current version will be posted on the Company's website.
