Yes. Georgia law requires satisfactory identification before a notarial act can be performed. Acceptable IDs include a driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport, or another government-issued photo ID.

Yes. VeriTas provides a mobile services throughout Georgia. Depending on the service, appointments may take place at homes, businesses, hospitals, nursing facilities, correctional facilities (where permitted), and mutually agreed public meeting locations.

Yes. A notarization may be declined if legal requirements cannot be met, proper identification is unavailable, the signer appears unwilling or unable to understand the document, or other circumstances prevent the notarization from being completed properly.
